It’s been clear for a long time now that fans aren’t thrilled with the second season of Promised Neverland. Anyone who has had a chance to read the manga has surely noticed that something is missing. Which are ultimately the main reasons why there are so many dissatisfied with the series that was supposed to finally succeed.

In the second season, one of the main characters Goldy Pond was left out, which gave the impression that certain chapters were discarded and a good part of the story was skipped. For many readers, this character is one of their favorites. The question is, was it wise to throw out the character that was the backbone of the series?

Dissatisfaction went so far that fans in Japan demanded that such an omission be corrected. Because of that omission, the fifth episode will hasten Norman’s return, disabling any climatic emotion.

Cutting Goldy Pond hints that conclusions could be rushed. If this is true, it could eventually happen to further degrade the quality of the series. Ultimately when any work is adapted, be it a manga or any other novel, it is clear you can expect changes. Sometimes changes will make the action even better and more interesting, but in most cases, they do just the opposite, and that makes it all worse.
