If you never watched Spirited Away, you might have heard many rumours on how good it was or how disappointing. There is usually no in between. However, it’s one of the finest of all animated films and its foundation is in the traditional approach with frame-by-frame drawing.

The story of this movie contains endless creativity, with different kinds of beings which were never seen before. Sometimes it takes time to understand the scenes and you might need to watch the same scene a few times to capture everything that’s going on.

In general, the story isn’t so cheerful and revolves around a 10-year-old girl Chihiro who goes through all kinds of trouble. The story also reveals how brave she actually is and how much she appreciates her family.

From the very beginning, it's an extraordinary adventure with a lot of shape-shifting and magic. It’s not a movie that will fill you up on endless action but it still doesn’t let you take your eyes off the screen.

It isn’t a typical American animation with frantic scenes of endless happenings, trying to keep you interested. However, it is definitely worth watching and it’s one of the most-imaginative anime movies you will see.
