This is one of the Netflix anime’s films which is a love story about naive obsession. A girl named Miyo turns into a cat whenever she wants to be close to a young boy with who she fell in love.

She watches him work on pottery with his grandfather by infiltrating his home as a cat. In her human form, she has a huge personality and she is known as very energetic and enigmatic. She is very forward on how she feels about young boy Hinode but is very clumsy around him.

The story mainly revolves about her devotion. There’s also a villain in the story, known as a Mask Seller who is a cat that gives Miyo her ability to transform.

The entire story leaves a good impression of the wacky magical tale as it goes along. The movie has its own furry-ish cosplay mythology and it mixes between comedy, romance and drama.

A cat-inspired story definitely raises a level of interest to cat lovers but it can also be fun for others. It’s simply amusing to see puffy, furry faces in the larger form, sitting at the bar and expressing regret over life choices.

There is also something in the entire story where the feline and the human world understand each other. It’s like a mystery of our relationship finally resolved.
