The main storylines are divided into five main arcs, with some side-stories going on here and there. Find out which are the ones that seem to take quite a bit of time until they got resolved.
1. Chibiusa Stayed in the past
Chibiusa, the Usagi’s daughter, has travelled into the past. He lived there with her mother’s family for quite a while. That was explained by her needing the help of Senshi from future villains but even when the story was resolved, she stayed with the Tsukinos.
2. Fight against Galaxia
This is one of the shorter stories actually as it lasts only 11 chapters. However, the Sailor Moon going to space to face Galaxia has left a strong impression. From many evil Sailor Senshi, who even didn’t get their spot in the manga, Sailor Moon had to take the evil reanimated versions of her friends. The storyline just felt like anything could happen in there.
3. The Dark Kingdom refusing to die
The Dark Kingdom, the main villains of the first story arc have seemed like a force that just keeps coming back. They wanted to serve Queen Metallia and they were ruled by Queen Beryl, whose minions have set the Earth as their target. They were stealing energy and looking for the Silver Crystal.
4. The Witches 5
Most villains had a collection of the minions as the backup but not the Witches 5. They proved to be especially hard to take down. They always appeared in a group of five and had their most powerful weapon – Kaolinite.
5. Fight in the Future
Fight in the future took it’s time when saving Chibiusa’s mother – who is nobody else but the Usagi herself. It brought a new time period and quickly resolved into a new chapter.
